I have known this sweet family for a few years now and have had the privilege to photograph their precious family numerous times! I always love my time with them, and Mr. Sam is always so adventurous and fun to follow around! When Diana contacted me about photographing their maternity photos, I could not have been more thrilled for them to welcome another little boy to their crew! She is such an incredible boy mom, and I love how apparent it is that she loves every little ounce of being one!

They welcomed their handsome little bundle just after the new year, and after a few days in the NICU that little fighter finally got to go home! He may be tiny, but he sure is a fighter! A few days after being home, the Dunbars invited me over to photograph their now, family of four. Proud big brother greeted me at the door and led me by the hand to show off his new baby – oh and his bedroom and toys of course! We had so much fun letting him do his own thing during the entire session, and laughed so much at his hilarious tricks! Newborn photos with a toddler are typically not for the faint of heart, but I am going to go out on a limb and say we still got some incredible, sweet, fun, precious memory making images for the Dunbar family!

There were some sweet moments! There were some hilarious moments! lol! The perfect little face. He truly was a dream to photograph! Dad may not have loved this part of the session, but I LOVE how fun and hilarious these are!

At the end of the session I started to leave and Sam didn’t want me to go. He held my hand and asked me to stay and it pained me to look him in the eye and tell him I had to leave! Later, Diana posted on her Instagram a video of him crying at the door trying to get out because he didn’t want me to leave!! Y’all, MELT . MY . HEART. I love this job and the families I get to be a part of!!
