Prepare yourself, this one is a doozie!!
In 2019 I started taking the time to look back at every session and wedding I photographed throughout the entire year to handpick some of my very favorite images from that entire year. It takes hours to go through the thousands and thousands of images I deliver to my sweet clients and is one of the hardest things to narrow down, but it is also one of the most rewarding.
We all know that 2020 was quite literally one for the history books, but I don’t want to use this post to talk about all the crazy stuff that happened Instead, I want to use this post to celebrate 2020! In the midst of all the craziness it is humbling to see just how blessed I was throughout the year. I photographed so many newborns, sweet families, small business owners and bloggers, fun-loving couples, and gorgeous weddings! I was challenged, I failed, I learned, and I grew. In the midst of a pandemic, I still reached my goals and found an even deeper (didn’t know that was possible) love for what I get to do. Some of my very favorite images I’ve ever taken happened this past year and you’ll get to see some of them!
It is so fun going back through each gallery and being reminded by all the funny, emotional, humble, sometimes stressful moments that made up each gallery. This post contains over 100 images from weddings, newborn sessions, engagements, maternity, family, branding, and more! And no, I did not choose images from EVERY session because that would have been quite overwhelming for all of us! I love going through each gallery and seeing what images I gravitate towards choosing as a favorite. For me, a “favorite” image can be anything from an emotional moment, a composition that I loved, a tricky situation I was able to overcome, or pretty much anything that catches my eye or sparks a creative excitement within me.
I also just want to celebrate YOU! The ones I got to photograph. The joy filled couples that excitedly started their greatest adventure in marriage! The families that welcomed new little ones or witnessed their babies graduate from high school. The entrepreneurs that were ready to take their business to the next level. The new and the old relationships that go much deeper than “client” status. Without you, this post would not even be possible! Nor would my job. I say it all the time and I’ll say it again! This passion is much deeper than a job for me, and I am so grateful and humbled that I have the privilege of being a part of such sweet seasons in your lives!
Okay that’s enough mush for now! Let’s see some photos!!
