This day, where do I even begin!? There were so many things that I loved about Morgan and Christian’s wedding day! The day began in the classic 1930s bridal suite house at The Ballroom At I Street in Bentonville. Laughter, stories, giggles, and pure joy echoed through the house as the bridal party finished getting ready and I began to shoot all the pretty details.
Morgan decided that she did not want her bridal party to see her dress until the bridesmaid’s first look, and I just loved that! The girls were so sweet and went over and beyond to be helpful to me while still keeping the dress a surprise! I think it is so special when brides incorporate sentimental pieces into their wedding, but especially into something she wears that was passed down from someone important. Morgan’s sweet mother-in-law wanted her to wear the veil that she wore in her own wedding to Christian’s dad. The intricate hand beaded pearls all the way down the train were the perfect compliment to Morgan’s dress and looked as if it were made just for her! So special!
One of my favorite things that Morgan and Christian chose to do on their wedding day was take some intentional time to be alone together. When Morgan first told me that they wanted to do this, I was just so proud of them! Wedding days go by SO fast and feel like such a whirlwind. Taking the extra 15 minutes of intentional time after their first look to be completely alone, read their personal vows to each other, and exchange their gifts, and pause to reflect on what this day means to them was such a beautiful thing to incorporate into the hustle of the day, and I’m so glad they chose to do that!
Morgan and Christian are the sweetest couple. You can see it by how they interact with each other, and you can feel it just by being around them. Even the way their family members and best friends shared about them all throughout the day was a testament to who they are as individuals and together. They have an undeniable love for one another and that is why even on a hot, humid, heat advisory, summer day, they and everyone person their to celebrate them was still so full of joy!!
As you scroll through their beautiful classic wedding day, I hope you will be able to see the love and joy in their images! We loved having the honor of being a part of every part of this day! From the couple and their families, to the personal ceremony and party of a reception, it was the best day!
Morgan and Christina, thank you for entrusting us to capture your day! We love you both!
